The members of Los Altos Golf & Country Club pride themselves on the rich history and strong family traditions of the Club. Whether you're an avid golfer, racquet player, swimmer, or enjoy the many social and dining activities, the benefits are countless and the experiences will stay with you for a lifetime. At LAGCC, you're more than a member — you're part of the family.

We are a member-owned private club, rich in history, where friends invite friends to join. Membership is by invitation only. Candidates must be sponsored by a minimum of four current Proprietary members and meet the requirements established by the Board of Directors. The same application process applies to all categories of membership.

All membership categories are designed for the primary member, spouse, and any children under age 25.

Membership Categories

Three ways to belong.

Equity Membership

Proprietary

Full use of every Club amenity, including the golf course and practice facilities. The only category with voting rights and a proprietary interest.

Proprietary Memberships hold a proprietary interest and must be sold or transferred upon resignation. They become available only when an existing member offers their membership for sale at a price they set; the Nominee learns the purchase price when the invitation is offered. Club Bylaws limit the total number of Proprietary Memberships to 425.

Ages 25 – 42

Young Professional

All amenities of the Club with tiered pricing based on age, offering reduced initiation fees and dues for the next generation of LAGCC members.

Young Professional membership is for members from age 25 until they reach the age of 42. It includes all amenities of the Club, including the golf course and practice facilities.

Some limitations apply for golf tournaments. Does not include voting privileges.

Non-Golf Membership

Social

Every beautifully designed amenity of the Club, from aquatics and racquets to dining and wellness — for the family that wants the LAGCC experience without regular golf access.

Social Membership does not include access to the golf course or practice facilities; however, Social members can play golf one time per month as the guest of a Proprietary member. This category is not an equity membership, so it does not include voting privileges and is not resalable. If a Social member later decides to upgrade to a Proprietary membership, 100% of the Social initiation fee is applicable to the purchase price.
